Oversees Associate System & Reporting Analysts, coordinates training for the Team, provides project tracking/metrics, acts as technical Team liaison in coordination with IT and other departments as needed, and provides status reports on Team activities to the Manager. This position is expected to be split about 70% Analysis and 30% Lead role.

Essential Functions:
  • Formulates new internal processes and analytical reports to improve information resources.
  • Gathers data from departments; update periodic reports; analyze statistical data to identify and correct errors and to evaluate general content.
  • Using advanced business unit knowledge, proactively researches requests for assistance and recommends software solutions or process improvements that will meet business needs.
  • Conducts accounting-based research and analysis to provide definitive financial data and advice for use in administering specific fiscal programs and processes.
  • Performs review analyses, including accumulation of data, financial & forecast modeling, reporting and monitoring of responses.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports to conduct data analysis and validation.
  • Analyzes trends to recommend process and/or operational improvements.
  • Researches methodologies and conducts advanced metric reporting.
  • Evaluates financial impact of implemented initiatives.
  • Creates scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Participate in mentoring new and Associate Analysts to strengthen the team's knowledge, expertise and flexibility by sharing knowledge of history, background, data, processes and anything relevant to develop Analysts into Subject Matter Experts and broaden their knowledge base.
  • Acts as point person to work with IT on access/system issues/changes, updates, upgrades, etc.
  • Acts as point person to work with Enrollment on Xcelys issues concerning LIS, eligibility and SPAP related variances.
  • Monitor/maintains project tracking database for accuracy, timeliness and metric reporting to management.
  • Conduct periodic audits of processes and process documentation to ensure documentation is current, TFS is updated, and standard processes are registered per the Business Managed Application Policy (IT.02.003).
  • Escalate hot topics and processes at risk of missing requirements to help keep the analysts and business Teams synchronized.
  • Support the necessity to QA new processes/reports before being distributed.
  • May use raw data from data warehouse to generate reports using statistical tools like SAS.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
  • Preferred A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Required Other OR Relevant technical programming certification/technical training equivalent to two (2) years, plus two (2) years relevant professional/technical experience and above average performance history
  • Required Other OR High school diploma or equivalent, plus four (4) years relevant professional/technical experience and above average performance history
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 3 years of experience in relevant healthcare experience
  • Required 3 years of experience in relevant programming and/or analytical experience
Candidate Skills:
  • Intermediate Ability to analyze information and covert related activities into a comprehensive work plan
  • Intermediate Ability to drive multiple projects
  • Intermediate Ability to implement process improvements

Licenses and Certifications:
A license in one of the following is required:
  • Preferred SAS Certified Base Programmer Credential
Technical Skills:
  • Required Advanced Microsoft Excel Highly proficient in Excel and Access, PowerPoint
  • Required Advanced Microsoft Access Visual Basic, Crystal Report Writing and Business Objects experience a plus
