REPORTING TO: VP, Healthcare QLTY & Analytics

Oversees the design and development, production, and roll-out of all reporting and analytics used in and related to the Company's health care quality operations, including the development of both internal and external provider quality analytics. In collaboration with Market and Clinical leadership, identifies, quantifies, and validates new opportunities for improvement in quality operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees the design and development, production, and roll-out of all Quality Analytics including: HEDIS Reporting, Provider Quality Analytics, Scorecards and Dashboards – both internal & external.
  • Oversees the design and roll-out of the Company's Provider Pay-for-Performance Quality Incentive Programs, as well as associated payout reports and other analytics.
  • Oversees design and roll-out of Quality reporting tools, serving as subject matter expert from a Quality standpoint; educates Markets and other stakeholders on how to use tools for "self-service" performance evaluation and interpret data / results.
  • In partnership with Clinical leadership, identifies "what ifs" and improvement opportunities—and then performs analysis to quantify and validate.
  • Manages the overall planning, development, and implementation of Quality reporting and analytics programs, products and services, particularly to address the medical service needs of members, network providers, Market leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Direct oversight of the responsibilities of the Director, Quality Data Integrity to produce desired reporting for Markets for HEDIS, EPSDT, other performance measures and data for interventions related to program rollouts
  • Performs special projects as needed.

Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in the quantitative area such as statistics, health science, or public health
  • Required A Master's Degree in quantitative/health science/public health
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 10 years of experience in the health care industry with a focus on QI and/or HEDIS analytics reporting
  • Required 5 years of management experience
  • Required 7 years of experience in Analytical roles
  • Preferred Other Experience working with a clinical setting
  • Preferred Other Managed care experience
  • Required Other Experience managing multiple research/report projects
