The Provider Operations Manager plans, provides resources and manages a team of In House Provider Relations Representatives in support of the Field Provider Relations team.
Reports to: Director, State Operations
Location: Chicago, IL
Dept: Operations
Essential Functions:
  • Manages and develops direct reports who may include exempt and/or non-exempt individual contributors
  • Conducts and directs team in providing support to field teams in the function of Provider Relations
  • Assists is establishing effective departmental practices and work closely with various departments to ensure department and company goals are being met
  • Performs work flow analysis to monitor consistency and efficiency in processes and procedures
  • Directs area activity to ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements and standards
  • Identifies areas to improve service levels within operating budget parameters
  • Manages resources to meet operational goals and budgets
  • Implements corporate initiatives to achieve optimum results

Candidate Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent directly related experience

Candidate Experience:

  • 5 yrs. of experience in Provider Relations, Network Development, Network Management, Customer Service, Provider Issue Resolution or a related field
  • 1 yrs. of people management experience OR 3 yrs. of experience in a supervisory, lead/senior role with demonstrated leadership ability or program management experience.
