Lead WellCare Operations Strategy and Roadmap creation and maintenance. Identify, lead, and partner with operations leaders to implement process integration and process improvement opportunities within Operations functions to increase synergies, improve quality, and achieve cost containment goals.
Institute and operationalize 3 year strategy and processes in support of near and longer term goals for the Operations organization and functions
Work with the Leadership team to define strategy and KPIs for the Operations organization and functions
Monitor and support tracking and managing key deliverables of the Operations Strategic Plan
Research, preparation, collation and validation of content for executive meetings (Board updates, stakeholder meetings, keynotes, project reviews) in liaison with operations leaders to ensure accurate articulation of operations strategy and status
Identify, develop and coordinate the execution of operational process integration and improvement initiatives and special projects
Identify and implement Operations quality improvement initiatives and achieve cost efficiencies and cost takeout strategies
Record and collate actions / follow ups from the Operations Strategy meetings and track status
Partner to communicate the strategic vision to ensure transparency and understanding of Operations achievements, direction and priorities
Perform root cause analysis and recommend and implement process improvements. Recommend out of the box ideas that will benefit the organization and drive results to best in class.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, IT or related field
Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration
Required: 7 years of management experience, including strategy development and KPI/goal definitions, identifying and implementing process improvements, quality improvement, cost containment, and cost take-out strategies
Required: 3 years of experience in information technology
Preferred: Experience in a Healthcare environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
