Oversees the timely development, management and optimization of member and provider materials (i.e., identification cards, member handbooks, provider directories and provider manuals) for government-sponsored health plans, ensuring compliance and data accuracy, achieving service excellence, and supporting growth initiatives. Collaborates with Shared Services and local markets to facilitate and support these initiatives.
Analyzes government contracts and marketing guidelines for information to develop member and provider materials.
Works with stakeholders to ensure member and provider materials are compliant and accurate according to government contracts and marketing guidelines.
Collaborates in the production of member and provider materials, including creating and maintaining project plans, versioning, vendor data testing, and proofing.
Provides materials development status reporting to management and stakeholders on a routine and ad hoc basis.
Serves as a member and provider materials subject matter expert to partner and consult with stakeholders to strategize and plan the development of materials.
Represents the team/department in cross-functional meetings.
Functions as a brand champion to perpetuate corporate branding standards.
Supports new business development and expansion by developing member and provider materials.
Prepares for internal and external audits and accreditation efforts as required.
Participates in/contributes to key initiative projects.
Performs other duties as requested.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
Required A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Health Policy and Management, Marketing or related field.
Required or equivalent work experience 2 additional years of experience in communications development, implementation and oversight (5 years total)
Required 3 years of experience in communications development, implementation and oversight.
Preferred Other Experience with member and provider materials and/or marketing (i.e., direct and online).
Preferred Other Experience with a major health plan that operates government-sponsored plans.
