Oversees the timely development, management and optimization of member and provider materials (i.e., identification cards, member handbooks, provider directories and provider manuals) for government-sponsored health plans, ensuring compliance and data accuracy, achieving service excellence, and supporting growth initiatives. Collaborates with Shared Services and local markets to facilitate and support these initiatives.

Essential Functions:
  • Analyzes government contracts and marketing guidelines for information to develop member and provider materials.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure member and provider materials are compliant and accurate according to government contracts and marketing guidelines.
  • Collaborates in the production of member and provider materials, including creating and maintaining project plans, versioning, vendor data testing, and proofing.
  • Provides materials development status reporting to management and stakeholders on a routine and ad hoc basis.
  • Serves as a member and provider materials subject matter expert to partner and consult with stakeholders to strategize and plan the development of materials.
  • Represents the team/department in cross-functional meetings.
  • Functions as a brand champion to perpetuate corporate branding standards.
  • Supports new business development and expansion by developing member and provider materials.
  • Prepares for internal and external audits and accreditation efforts as required.
  • Participates in/contributes to key initiative projects.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Health Policy and Management, Marketing or related field.
  • Required or equivalent work experience 2 additional years of experience in communications development, implementation and oversight (5 years total)
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 3 years of experience in communications development, implementation and oversight.
  • Preferred Other Experience with member and provider materials and/or marketing (i.e., direct and online).
  • Preferred Other Experience with a major health plan that operates government-sponsored plans.
