The Legal Technical Support Specialist will bring strong project management and problem-solving skills to work with the Legal team to continuously improve Legal's systems, processes, and data analytics. Responsible to will help identify operational improvement opportunities across the department through independent analysis, assessment of department/company priorities, and working with Legal team members. Plays an integral role in designing, planning, executing, and tracking success of operational improvement projects and other strategic initiatives. Where applicable, will aid in the selection and implementation of technology solutions, and liaise with WellCare's IT department in implementation and ongoing operation of these systems. Reports to the Senior Director, Legal Operations.
Identify process improvements opportunities, and suggest new methods to improve client experience and department productivity.
Advise stakeholders and project teams on operational capabilities, gaps, and recommended changes.
Design and execute projects to capture operational improvement value, and/or deliver strategic results.
Build buy-in from project stakeholders.
Lead change management efforts to ensure that potential impact is realized, including training and communications.
Contribute to definition of system requirements/testing and work with internal groups and external vendors on delivery and validation of technology.
Serve as lead liaison and escalation point for work with the corporate IT department.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of self-help tools, materials/resources such as tool kits, process and procedures documents, training materials, policy documents and guidelines.
Research and analyze industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to WellCare.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
Required A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or Computer Science or related field
Required 3 years of experience in providing technical support in a Corporate Legal department or law firm
Intermediate Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
Intermediate Ability to drive multiple projects
Intermediate Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management
Intermediate Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
