Plans, organizes, directs and manages activities associated with selling a product line of business. Implements marketing and sales strategies for the health care plan for the State.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversees strategic direction and achievement of sales enrollment goals through W2 and 1099 channel.
  • Drives relationships within the state to ensure marketing model philosophy is adopted.
  • Utilizes corporate resources to strategically maximize sales potential within state.
  • Leads, manages and directs through matrix environment and direct staff.
  • Coordinates product development and strategic planning by market within the state.
  • Drives relationships within the state to ensure marketing model philosophy is adopted.
  • Utilizes corporate resources to strategically maximize sales potential within state.
  • Oversees daily activities of the sales department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • This position will require a large percentage of time traveling with exposure to inclement weather and normal traffic hazards.
Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 6 years of experience in sales
  • Required 3 years of management experience
  • Required 3 years of experience in government sponsored health plans

  • Advanced Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
