Develops, leads and executives on employee relations strategies. Leads a team of HR professionals who provide effective service, support, consultation and resolution of ER inquiries, issues, and investigations through the informed application of company policies, programs, processes, and federal/state laws.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops an Employee Relations (ER) framework, including strategies and proposals to drive change within the organization based on trust, mutual respect, strong performance management and accountability in support of the goals of the organization.
  • Works in partnership with Human Resources, Compliance and Legal on employee issues, complaints and investigations.
  • Ensures cases are handled fairly, consistently, transparently, in a timely fashion, and in line with Company policies, procedures, and appropriate local and federal law.
  • Works in partnership with internal HR partners to develop and integrate the delivery of ER related learning and talent development interventions to strengthen the leadership capabilities of the organization.
  • Will lead or provide oversight on complex, high-risk and/or sensitive confidential investigations and make recommendations on appropriate course of action.
  • Works collaboratively with key stakeholders to assess the impact of policies and practices and make recommendations to address areas of inconsistency or practice improvement.
  • Tracks, reports and evaluates internal ER trends.
  • Researches and interprets employment laws, (FLSA, EEOC, etc.) for application to specific employee relations situations such as internal and external employee hearings, audits and lawsuits.
  • Provides oversight and support for the Company's immigration program.
  • Oversees the strategy, design, implementation and support of HR Operational programs and services.
  • Drives best practices to ensure efficient and effective management/oversight/resolution of employment matters.
  • Oversees the Affirmative Action plan process in partnership with In-house Employment Counsel and Talent Acquisition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 7 years of experience in employee relations, human resource generalist or HR relatable experience
  • Required 4 years of management experience
  • Preferred Other Experience working in a Human Resources function with a shared service delivery and strategic business partner model
  • Required Other Hands on experience heading Employee Relations/HR Operations with proven ability to develop customer service and technical strategies for internal customers
