Accelerates the development of our top executive leaders and high potential leaders in alignment with strategic goals. Strengthen our succession bench and builds our talent pipeline. Collaborates with HR colleagues, business partners, and external vendors and serve as the enterprise subject matter expert on executive leadership and high potential development. Oversees executive development planning and manages the design, delivery, and evaluation of development initiatives.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversees the process for assessment and identification of high potential talent.
  • Manages the succession planning process for critical executive level roles, and oversees the process for Vice President levels and above.
  • Develops and delivers business focused leadership development strategies, architecture, systems, and implementation processes to ensure WellCare has the executive leadership capability to drive greater business results and growth.
  • Leads and manages the design and delivery of development experiences and programs.
  • Creates and oversees initiatives in executive coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
  • Develops and leads executive education efforts to include third party programs, online universities, and speaker series.
  • Manages the structured development for MBA and other leadership rotational programs.
  • Researches, evaluates, and leverages best practices of other organizations to expand the quality and accessibility of leadership development to target audiences.
  • Creates, administers and analyzes post-event evaluations. Contributes to executive summaries and tracks reports on trends and improvements.
  • Manages key vendor relationships for programs including material and related contractual commitments.
  • Facilitates core programs and coaches senior leaders as needed.
  • Partners with internal HRBPs in program delivery and process implementation.
Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology or in a related field
  • Preferred A Master's Degree in a related field
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 10 years of experience in leadership and organizational development, succession planning or a related professional field
  • Required 5 years of management experience
