The Digital Communications Research Analyst position reports to the Operations Manager, New Growth Initiatives and collaborates with the entire department to successfully evaluate, implement, and monitor all research and reporting requirements in support of WellCare's overall business strategy.

The Digital Communications Research Analyst functions on an advanced level using multiple computer platforms, navigating different reporting systems, and applying advanced analytic tool sets. This position provides complex assessments and identifies business requirements to assist the department's unique data requirements and needs. This Research Analyst interacts with both internal and external WellCare teams to provide prompt and accurate data in compliance with regulatory and protocol guidelines.

This role is an investigative role and is essential to ensuring the highest quality of data for Digital Communications Department. Employing multiple tools, the Research Analyst will execute production processes, evaluate data trends, and reach out to other leaders to communicate findings to assist with moving data through processing cycles ensuring all quality checks are completed.

The Research Analyst will be responsible for document management, task tracking, scheduling, drafting reports, department reporting, audit requests, and general assistance to the New Growth & Initiatives Operations Manager. The Research Analyst may also be asked to assist with requirements gathering, use case writing, and updating system diagrams.



Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for researching, scheduling, producing, analyzing, and delivering multiple reports/projects of moderate complexity simultaneously with quality and on schedule

  • Proactively identify potential risks to the data quality of the product and assist in all required investigations to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of potential issues

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new product development, including tool design, production processes, and attend all relevant meetings

  • Assist with identifying and executing process improvements related to quality and efficiency of data

  • Willingness to learn additional products/processes in digital, including cross-data points

  • Investigate and answer data- and classification-related questions based on processing and methodology—and master all production-related processes including validation and delivery

  • Work directly with in all Digital Communications team to review and evaluate data including potential for interface with external clients

Additional Responsibilities:Candidate Education:
  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Required or equivalent work experience 2 yrs business information or analytics
Candidate Experience:
  • Required 5 years of experience in strong analytics, preferably in healthcare
Candidate Skills:
  • Intermediate Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Intermediate Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management
  • Intermediate Ability to analyze and interpret financial data in order to coordinate the preparation of financial records
