Responsible for the management and oversight of key communications tools and platforms to support a culture of quality excellence at WellCare. This includes functioning as the primary point of accountability for creative direction and content development (e.g., podcasts, articles, graphics, PowerPoints, social media) to drive associate awareness and engagement with the quality portal, the quality line, manager tool kits, and the quality rewards program. Applies comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid quality and communications best practices to support Sr. Director in delivering system-wide campaigns/trainings, and meeting SLAs and other key performance metrics.
Support Population Health Services (PHS) on primarily internal basis, continuously mindful of opportunities to repurpose/pitch externally.
Collaborate with the CMO and staff to outline a vision for creatively sharing, in tried-and-true as well as novel ways, the vision of WellCare's approach to positively affecting population health (our value proposition).
Work closely with other functions to design messages and deliverables that establish, nurture and "convert." This can range from informing member and provider materials development, to brainstorming with Government Affairs on population health-related messages that will get in front of influencers.
Oversee content presence with intranet pages, contribute to external social media plan, especially LinkedIn and Twitter, and internal social plan (Workplace by Facebook).
Research, write and share blog entries with the media team that amplifies the work of the PHS organization.
Stay abreast of new developments within population health.
Work with internal comms on PHS-supporting podcasts, intranet site content, town hall messages, video and photography projects.
Proactively develops collaborative relationships with markets and corporate shared services to secure participation and support for initiatives.
Creates manager tool kits to support the successful implementation of system-wide PHS initiatives.
Sources and shares data, trends and insights for continuous campaign improvement.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Required 6 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations and/or Marketing
