The Business Analysis Manager directs and oversees competitive financial analysis and statistical studies.

DEPARTMENT: State Operations

REPORTS TO: Director, State Operations

Essential Functions:
  • Manages and leads in the development of complex ad-hoc reports to enable process and trend analysis
  • Researches methodologies and conducts advanced metric reporting
  • Provides recommendations on the implementation of new/revised operational and/or reporting processes
  • Analyzes trends to recommend process and/or operational improvements
  • Prepares detail and summary level reports including written interpretation of analytic results
  • Presents results to management, including data-driven business recommendations and alternatives
  • Evaluates financial impact of implemented initiatives

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics; MBA, preferred
  • 5-7 years experience in a related financial analysis role supporting business departments
  • 3-5 years people management experience, preferably in a Healthcare environment

  • Intermediate knowledge of one or more of the following required: SQL, Crystal, Diamond, Cognos, CRMS, Sidewinder
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAS, PC and Unix environments required

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook,Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • May require knowledge of one or more of the following: SQL, Crystal, Diamond, Cognos, CRMS, Sidewinder
  • Knowledge of SAS, PC and Unix environments
