TA Event and College Coordinator - Temp

Provides support and assistance in the delivery of Human Resources Talent Acquisition processes relative to event management and college recruiting. Provides administrative support to execute campus and college recruiting strategies. Coordinates event planning activities, to include campus activities, job fairs, internal interview blitz events, networking events, and internship program activities. Performs routine administrative functions such as maintaining system and reporting accuracy, coordinating meetings and greeting internal/external constituencies.

Location: Henderson Rd, Tampa, FL

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the coordination of the internship and college recruiting strategies including identifying creative approaches to college recruiting support activities.
  • Acts a liaison to and manages communications with campus Career Services offices to facilitate campus recruiting activities.
  • Utilizes department systems, such as the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track and report on candidates.
  • Assists the recruiters with internship hiring activities, to include coordinating interviews, processing salary requests, preparing offer letters, and pre-employment background checks.
  • Partners with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and recruiters to provide status updates relative to intern candidates.
  • Administers all activities relative to event management.
  • Maintains department event calendar of all Talent Acquisition events.
  • Maintains database of all recruitment strategy requests, tracking ROI for event participation and/or additional resources.
  • Makes ongoing process improvement recommendations to enhance and improve the college recruiting and event management programs.
  • May assist with the coordination of executive and/or non-executive interview scheduling.
  • May coordinate activities for hiring managers, recruiters, candidates, guests, and vendors to include securing conference rooms, securing meeting equipment, coordinating travel, ordering meals, etc.
  • Assists with weekly Talent Acquisition auditing activities.
  • Screens and directs incoming calls and visitors.
  • Participates in department projects as assigned.
    Candidate Education:
    • Required A High School or GED
    • Preferred An Associate's Degree in a related field
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 2 years of experience in one of the following is required: Assistant / Staffing Assistant / Recruiting Coordinator in a corporate Talent Acquisition department. and/or general experience in Human Resources administration.
    • Preferred - Experience working with college career centers and job fairs
    • Preferred - Experience in event management
    • Preferred - Working knowledge of the managed healthcare industry
    • Preferred - Knowledgeable in various employment laws including EEO and Adverse Actions.

    • Preferred Beginner Other Knowledge of and/or ability to use a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), (i.e., Salesforce, etc.).
    • Required Intermediate Other Proficiency with utilizing fax machines, copy machines, conference phones, audio/visual equipment, etc.
    • Required Intermediate Other Ability to type at least 50-60 words per minute.
