Sr. Compensation Administrator

Location: Tampa, FL (Henderson Rd.)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Sr. Director, Compensation

Provides administrative and project support to the Compensation department. Acts as a lead on database administration, report administration, data integrity administration and special projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides administration and project support to the Compensation department.
  • Acts as lead administrator over department databases to ensure appropriate functionality and accurate data. Works with vendors to ensure timely and accurate uploads, data integrity and troubleshoot issues.
  • Acts as lead administrator over the Compensation intranet site. Works with internal information technology department on design, content and functionality. Updates content on a regular basis.
  • Conducts, maintains and produces monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Contributes to building new reports upon request.
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis upon request.
  • Conducts audits on data integrity within various Human Resources tools/applications and works with corresponding Human Resources departments for remediation. Looks for ways to implement better best practice to prevent continuous errors or issues.
  • Creates, updates and maintains job descriptions.
  • Organizes salary survey participation dates, ensures on time submission to vendors, tracks and documents overall salary survey costs and works with department Administrative Assistant on purchase order payments.
  • Participates in and submits salary surveys.
  • Creates and updates documentation on policy and procedures.
  • Assists with the creation of department communications as part of large scale projects.
  • Assists Compensation Analysts with compensation projects and special reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
    Candidate Education:
    • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • Required or equivalent work experience directly related to the essential duties of the job
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 2 years of experience in human resources or compensation administration supporting a department through database administration, report administration and special projects.
