Software Engineer, Sr

Accountable for the implementation of, or complex changes to, information systems.

-Review user specifications/requirements in order to complete the technical design, technical documentation, programming and testing of changes which have been assigned.

-Resolve complex issues and/or defects reported as a result of faults in the production system.

-Participate and contribute to technical feasibility studies, business cases, proposals, and the assessment of third-party applications/products.

-Prepare detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will be developed and implemented.

-Assist in the design and development of enterprise systems making determinations about system performance, reliability, and scalability.

-Conduct system analysis and development to keep information systems current with changing technologies.

-Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.

-Develop new programming and proof the program to develop needed changes to ensure production of a quality product.

-Write, edit and debug new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.

-Test new or enhanced programs to ensure logic and syntax are correct.

-Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in the database tables on procedural, modular and database level.

Salary Range $110,178.00 - 113,224.00

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, or related.

5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Developer or related.

Required experience must include: 24 months of ASP.NET, C#, Electronic Data Interchange, Java, J2EE, MS SQL, MQ Series, PL SQL, Oracle Database Management System, SalesForce, XML/HTML and Informatica Power Center.

Additionally, SalesForce Developer Certification is preferred.

**In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, employer will accept no degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
