Product Specialist

With assistance from the Product Managers, supports the development, rollout, and management of Medicaid/Medicare products across all markets. Acts as a liaison between the functional areas, markets and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful sale, delivery, and maintenance of products. Supports cross functional activity such as root cause identification and resolution, product performance review, product development and product rollout and training.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports cross functional projects which impact product performance through identification, resolution, and ongoing product performance monitoring.
  • Partners with functional areas such as Operations, Sales, Provider Relations, Finance, and Regulatory to review product performance/effectiveness and determine actionable items to address (including resolving member/product issues and conducting ongoing training).
  • Supports the development of training tools to support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of product benefits and services.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
    Candidate Education:
    • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • Required or equivalent work experience an additional 2 years experience in healthcare and/or health insurance
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 1 year of experience in healthcare and/or health insurance
    • Required Other Experience in supporting projects in the following areas: Benefit Design, Benefit Management and/or Administration, Marketing and Sales, Strategic Planning, Marketing Management, and/or Project Management
    • Preferred Other Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage, or consumer financials products experience.
