Product Manager, Associate

Manages and coordinates the completion of enterprise, functional and/or departmental projects and key deliverables that support the development, implementation, and on-going performance management for Medicare, Part D, Exchange, and/or Medicaid products. Drives enterprise, functional and/or departmental initiatives and ensures project timelines and expectations are met for the sale, delivery, and maintenance of products. Ensures projects and deliverables achieve established goals for business value creation. Presents findings and makes recommendations to all levels of management that may include product design strategies, analysis of customer or financial data, approaches for product implementation and efforts to course correct challenges associated with product performance.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinates and manages project planning, execution, and is the subject matter expert for completing the deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Manages key project initiatives including the development of detail work plans, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring/summarizing project progress.
  • Delivers on key work products that supports the development, implementation, and on-going management of the product.
  • Develops training tools to support organization wide product training, design and accurate filing of product benefits, competitive analysis, and leading efforts to course correct product performance challenges that could be financial, regulatory, and/or operational in nature.
  • Reviews marketing materials to ensure accuracy of detailed product content.
  • Subject matter expert on how the product should be marketed and operated within federal and state regulatory requirements
  • Provides supervision and management for cross functional teams to achieve product goals for sales, development, implementation, and management of the product
  • Monitors developed work plans and enforces accountability by key stakeholders.
  • Plans for and drives change through holistic project plans including process, system, organization and facilities changes pending on project.
  • Prepares strategic analysis of potential business and/or operational opportunities.
  • Communicates purpose and vision of the project and prepares summary reports and recommendations for management.
  • Represents the department in cross-functional teams and to external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
    Candidate Education:
    • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
    • Preferred A Master's Degree in a related field
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 4 years of experience in direct project management with primary responsibility managing projects from start to finish within the following areas: product development, product management, marketing and sales, strategic planning, or consulting
    • Preferred Other Healthcare experience, Consulting experience, or Medicare, Medicaid, Exchange, or Pharmacy product experience
