Intern I- IT, Integration Management

The mission of the Integration Management Office (IMO) is to contribute to the achievement of WellCare’s strategic growth goals by rapidly and efficiently integrating corporate acquisitions into the WellCare organization, processes, and technologies. Integration of acquisitions is one of company’s top 5 priorities.

Essential Functions:

The intern for the IMO group will be working with the team to define, plan and execute on acquisitions to help WellCare double revenue growth within 5 years. The intern will work across multiple roles and have the opportunity to work with leadership and shadow and learn from management, project managers, and analysts on the team. In addition, learn about healthcare, acquisitions, and the Integration Management Office. The intern will gain skills required in the work place to drive projects and be successful as a Project Analyst and Project Manager.

  • Assist the team with meeting minutes, documentation, project plans, driving meetings, creating presentations
  • Ensure all documents are updated and in compliance with tools, templates, and processes outlined by IMO and ePMO
  • Assigned specific projects to manage and drive

    Candidate Education:
    • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with course work/major in Healthcare, Business, IT or project management with a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
