Intern I- IT, Enterprise Shared Services - Capital Planning

eSS (Enterprise Shared Services Department) is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of enterprise-wide, highly complex, and large scale projects throughout the organization. We also focus on the organization’s capital planning process. eSS is a center for transformation.

Essential Functions:

Learning the process of managing the company’s capital planning portfolio / budget, and assisting in ad hoc and regular report generation comprising of trend analysis of project spend and financial adherence, KPI and metric evaluation, and presentation preparation support.

  • Become familiar with the terms and strategies for managing a multimillion dollar portfolio.

  • Establishing a knowledge base for project health characteristics, primarily financial in nature, which will then be used to perform trend analysis

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of general business concepts and tracking for ROI evaluations.

Candidate Education:
  • Required: Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with major or coursework in Finance / Business Administration / Operations with a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
