Intern I- Finance, Treasury - Procurement

The mission of Enterprise Procurement is to provide services that add value and support WellCare’s success. We are committed to:

  • Collaboratively developing and executing a vendor strategy that aligns with business plans
  • Improving our value add and service to our partners and stakeholders by negotiating and implementing a comprehensive yet efficient Source-2-Settle solution
  • Ensuring vendors are proactively managed to drive performance, reduce risk, and deliver more value
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations and WellCare Policies


Intern will work with managers/associates to formalize and implement the vendor onboarding and de-boarding processes as well as assist with the categorization of vendors and updating and maintaining the Vendor Master.

  • Research and help design/develop new Supplier Portal
  • Revise and optimize Procurement templates
  • Create new Procurement M&A integration template
Candidate Education:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with a Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management major, preferred but not required. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
Candidate Experience:
  • Required No Experience

Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate/Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
