Intern I - IT, Enterprise Information Management -Data Management & Reporting

The EIM (Enterprise Information Management) department specializes in enterprise data management, data science, data governance, clinical data management, self- service reporting and compliance reporting. We are building an effective information management environment which helps the business teams with quick and accurate decision making. This includes; creating reliable, scalable and sustainable data infrastructure to provide effective results. Our team, Enterprise Data Integration specializes in creating and submitting CMS Reports, audit universes, rate settings, custom vendor extracts (Inbound/Outbound), DataMart's and Data Loads. The team supports both Regulatory and Non-Regulatory applications using Informatica, SAS and PL/SQL as primary technologies as well as Hadoop/Greenplum technologies.


Essential Functions:
  • Create application inventory with source mapping in one place. This should give ability to provide impact analysis on any source system changes impacting our supporting applications.
  • Technical deliverable using ETL or SQL tool
  • Enhance existing Team WiKi site to add additional details for existing applications.
    Candidate Education:
    • Master’s program with major of MIS in Computer Science or Database Management and at least 3.0 GPA or higher/Pass ratings
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required No Experience

    Technical Skills:

    Strong MS-Office skills to help us with necessary documentation using Visio and other tools of MS-office.
    Healthcare background, major or experience is a plus

    SQL Skills and/or ETL (Informatica Power Center, SAS or IDQ) skills is plus
