Intern I - IT, Application Development - Web Portal

The intern will work on the Web Portal team in IT at WellCare. Responsible for all application development on public, member and provider facing websites.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with the creation of automated unit testing for Website development. Additional assignments in Ruby, .Net, Mongo DB, SiteCore and Coveo will be assigned based on demonstration of skills
  • Demonstrate understanding of test driven development through creation of unit x number of test cases using NUnit
  • Create and document unit test case process
  • Automate processes. Demonstrate understanding of SonarQube by integrating with unit test code written by intern and showing code coverage results
    Candidate Education:
    • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with course work/major in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required No Experience

    Technical Skills:

    • SQL, C#, and .NET experience
    • Preferred: .Net or Java, Website development, Object oriented programming concepts, database experience
