Intern I - IT, Application Development - Human Resource Information Systems

The department supports all technical applications supporting the Human Resources (HR) department and the talent process (Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Performance, and Succession). We provide ongoing functional enhancement development and new solution development support for HR.


Essential Functions:

The Intern will support the following:
  • Current application enhancement projects
  • HR Business Process Transformation to redefine what and how our Talent areas deliver value back to the rest of the business.
  • Workday Implementation. Workday is the #1 integrated HRIS solution in North America. We are replacing 33 of our existing 59 Talent applications with Workday in order to improve data integration, process robotics, predictive analytics, and reporting capabilities.
  • Learn all the basic functions performed by the Talent and IT areas including learning what return on investment (ROI) each has to the business.
  • Learn new technical skills like application configuration, data table management, integration management, technical documentation

  • Get hands on practical experience with:
    • Basic IT lifecycle processes
    • Robotic workflow development
    • Dashboarding development
    • Project management
    • Business requirement documentation
    • Status reporting
Candidate Education:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with major related to Information Technology and a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
Candidate Experience:
  • Required No Experience
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge in smart phone programming

  • EXCEL and SharePoint experience preferred
