Intern I - IT, Application Delivery - Enterprise Knowledge Management

The department performs development and production support services for the Enterprise Knowledge Management tool. The Knowledge Management system is utilized to capture all information across WellCare, allowing quick accessibility to correct pertinent, and consistent information used in responding to member and provider needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Gain experience working with a Knowledge Management tool within a large process oriented organization and increase knowledge of various technologies.
  • Learn how to work with Application Administrators to support ongoing projects, learn maintenance, and application support functions
  • Gain exposure to enterprise application architecture, coding standards, patterns and practices
  • Understand the importance of time management and multi-tasking
Candidate Education:
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student in a college program with major in Computer Science or Information Systems and a minimum 3.0 GPA or Pass ratings.
Candidate Experience:
  • Required No Experience
Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of database structure
  • Experience working with databases and SQL
