ePMO Project Manager, Assoc

Position oversees the development of deliverables and executes ePMO departmental initiatives to ensure project budgets, scope, timelines, process, quality and expectations are met.

Essential Functions:
  • Determines the entire scope and requirements of the project including necessary resources, role responsibilities, accuracy of estimates and data, compliance with WellCare project methodology, resulting in the building of a detailed project plan and is involved in all phases of project management.
  • Drives driving smaller capital projects, or partners on an ePMO project team in executing larger initiatives in an independent manner.
  • Adheres to and ensures project team compliance with all ePMO guidelines and audit standards.
  • Completes and oversees the Project Change Control process for the assigned area of accountability.
  • Partners with business and IT sponsors to ensure deliverables are prioritized and completed by agreed timeframes.
  • Serves as a liaison with business teams, Finance, and IT to manage the project’s finances and departmental budgets.
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of workload and available resources to adjust schedules and priorities around project activities.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and presenting project status, Finances and variances.
  • Responsible for minimizing project risk through the development of contingency plans.
  • Participates in team meetings to set strategies, update project progress, and resolve outstanding issues
  • Obtains status data and maintains an updated project plan.
  • Ensures timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.
  • Completes and oversees of the Change Control process for the assigned area of accountability.
  • Communicates information effectively to other associates.
  • Evaluates workload and available resources to adjust schedules and priorities in collaboration with the business and IT teams as required.
  • Drives results through strategic planning and project leadership.
  • Monitors developed work plans and enforces accountability by key stakeholders.
  • Prepares strategic analysis of potential business and/or operational opportunities.
  • Communicates purpose and vision of the project and prepares summary reports and recommendations for management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
    Candidate Education:
    • Required An Associate's Degree in
    • Required Other an additional 1 year of applicable experience may be substituted for the Associates Degree
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 3 years of experience in Project Management
    • Preferred 2 years of experience in managing teams and multiple projects in a matrix environment
    • Required Other Project Management software tools
    • Preferred Other Healthcare environment
    Candidate Skills:
    • Intermediate Demonstrated organizational skills
    • Intermediate Demonstrated project management skills
    • Intermediate Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
