Employee Relations Specialist III

Provides guidance and recommendations to business leaders and HRBPs on complex employee relations cases in order to achieve legally sound, fair and equitable resolutions. Develops and executes employee relations strategies, programs, services and solutions to enable the company to successfully meet business goals and maintain associate engagement.

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on employment laws and appropriately applies information to employee relations matters. Creates legally sound solutions to complex cases and maximize opportunities for the success of the associates and the business.
  • Conducts tier 2 and tier 3 fact finding, investigations and climate surveys, and may collaborate with Legal, Compliance and HRBPs on recommendations and resolution of complex high risk cases.
  • Provides advice on interpreting HR policies and procedures and recommends HR policies and practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship to promote a higher level of associate engagement.
  • Utilizes reports and dashboards to review trends employee relations trends and proactively provides strategies and solutions on retention and associate engagement to HRBPs and business leaders.
  • Develops, designs, and facilitates employee relations training programs to increase management effectiveness and accountability.
  • Creates investigative reports for all casework and intake activities as well as the upload of case related documents into the case management system.
  • Participates in and/or leads projects and may assists leadership with department communication efforts.
  • Mentors and provides oversight to the work and development of less experienced employee relations associates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
    Candidate Education:
    • Required A Bachelor's Degree in in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
    • Required or equivalent work experience directly related to the primary duties and responsibilities of the job
    Candidate Experience:
    • Required 5 years of experience in human resources with specific concentration in employee relations and/or a HR Business Partner.
